Traditional Worship – Sunday 8:00am
The traditional service is a liturgical worship service using liturgies and hymns from The Lutheran Worship played on Zion’s beautiful pipe organ. Choirs, ensembles and soloists contribute to this service. A special children’s lesson is given during the offering where the children come up to the altar with their offering and sit and listen to a story related to that day’s lesson.
Blended Worship – Saturday 6:00pm and Sunday 9:30am
The blended service is a liturgical worship service follows a liturgical framework with an order of service printed in the bulletin and played on the pipe organ (Sunday) or piano (Saturday) with hymns from The Lutheran Worship. Choirs, ensembles and soloists contribute to this service.
Contemporary Worship – Sunday 11:00am
The contemporary worship service follows a liturgical framework of a less formal character. Songs are drawn from a variety of sources with an emphasis on contemporary Christian song-writers. Songs, readings and the order of service are displayed on the twin screens in the front of the sanctuary. This service is lead by praise and worship teams with guitars, keyboard, and drums. The third Sunday of each month is designated Youth Sunday and the worship is led by Zion’s youth praise team, Crosswalk. A special children’s lesson is given during the offering where the children come up to the altar with their offering and sit and listen to a story related to that day’s lesson.
The Lord’s Supper is celebrated on the second and last weekends at all services.
Fellowship is offered between the 8:00am and 9:30am worship services. Join us for coffee, tea, and donuts in the ministry center. This is a time when people at Zion gather to talk and get to know one another.
Special services are held during Lent and Advent and for special church holidays during the year. The Lord’s Supper is served every weekend during Lent. Please consult the church calendar for a schedule of these services.
